Kë Gbéshmen

This year, we've renamed our youth summer camp to Kë Gbéshmen, which means "let's camp." This is the same combined Dreamcatchers and Culture Camp your child might have experienced last year, just with a new, unified name.

Each summer Native American youth from Kindergarten to 12th grade can enjoy a summer youth culture camp experience at the Pokagon Band's Rodgers Lake campground. The focus of the camp is language, culture, spirituality, traditional ecological knowledge, Neshnabe history, and education. Many of the camp activities are built around cultural teachings and language lessons, but also include many favorite conventional camp activities.
